Home grown tomato
I think this qualifies as an emergency blip.
We're shifting offices and just about the entire day was taken up with sorting, packing, tidying and unplugging.
As of tomorrow we no longer reside in the Law Building but will 'live' on the 7th floor of the central library. This is about as high as it gets at the University of Canterbury.
I go from having an internal office on the 4th floor (sounds much worse than it is), to a sweeping view. But like all the moves we make, this is another temporary one.
Anyway, I was late away from work and headed to the local garden centre. Bill gave me a 'pup' from one of his Bromeliaceae's. I don't know if it is a Guzmania or another Bromeliaceae. Before I leave the Law Building tomorrow morning I wanted to return his pot.
The garden centre had every size and shape of pot except one suitable for me. Eventually we found an excellent solution but that can wait for another blip day ;-) (probably post surgery when I'm house bound).
As I washed these tomatoes for a pre-dinner snack, I realised I was handling today's blip.
Maybe not so much an emergency blip, but a bit of quick thinking.
Enjoy my tomato (I did :-)
