A long day

Overnight rain which lingered into the morning was much needed. I caught up on some sleep on returning from my night shift.

Later the sun came out as I accompanied T to her Fiddle Session in The Washhouse. I walked back along the beach busy with rowers, cyclists, volleyballers and a six-a-side frisbee match. Largo Law, our walk yesterday, looked deceptive in the clear evening light across The Forth.

Happy birthday to our elder son - 34 today!
