Herd Instinct

Another unseasonably cold day. I walked after lunch with Ollie dog at Lodge Farm wearing my thick winter coat and woollen scarf. 

On the way back to the car we spotted a herd of deer in the valley and went off piste along a ditch to capture them. The buck with antlers can just be seen in the middle. They're in a field of wheat. A field of beans is on the other side of the ditch and the blooms smell gorgeous.
