Sweet Corn in December!

R came along with me to buy a Christmas gift for her brother and groceries. Our quest took us across town to a rapidly-growing part of the city I haven't been in quite some time, where we discovered to our delight that there was a new grocery store in the chain (Fortinos) I shop at every week. The fresh food section was incredible, and our Saturday lunch was upped a notch from our usual with corn on the cob being R's choice and spicy porcetta on focaccia for me. I don't know how they managed it, but the corn was summer sweet and really yummy (she shared a little).
