Choice

Little did we imagine our choice of the shrub Choisya for our garden a good few years ago would turn out as magnificent as this.
Mind you it was one our first shrubs and was little more than a fledgling plant in a pot at the time, and there was little we knew about it other than what it told us on the label and that it had a vaguely Mexican origin.
Since that time it has flourished and this time of the year is at its best, making a glorious focal point for one corner of the garden, and help hide a ghastly, but necessary fence. So glorious and prolific that a near neighbour has asked for sprigs of it to help decorate the village church year after year.
Wise choice!
