Wood Ducks.

I was out on the deck by 6:00 am to enjoy an early cup of coffee and watch the lake wake up.  I was treated too lots of swallows, Western Tanagers, Bald Eagle, hummingbird, Evening Grosbeak, woodpecker, Flicker, lots of little brown birds, lots of ducks.  I don't know why these wood ducks always look painted when I capture them.  This morning I worked in my garden then went to the store and stopped by my folks since I had been gone a week.  My parents are in the late 80's and are amazing how they work around their house.  Dad hasn't liked the deck since they bought the house three years ago and ....its now gone completely.  Will see what he does now.
