Dunluce Castle

So, our last day, time to pack up, but first a wee trip to Dunluce Castle between Portballintrae and Portrush. We'd driven past this castle perched on a rock several times and saved it for the last day. Unsurprisingly, it was the home to several Scots families some 400 years ago and just following the history in the area over the years it was clear how complex the history of Northern Island is.

The last photo is of Ballintoy Harbour which seems a perfect location for a world wide fantasy TV series... like Game of Thrones.. oh too late.
