May Bank Holiday weekend

Gardening can be a bit of a Rocky Horror show at The Pike! Docks and Nettles are a real enemy of biodiversity forcing a heavy handed approach.
Here, we are managing a small sunny area to cultivate a wild flower area and to grow onions and lettuce.
A very pleasant long weekend. Though also a reminder of the fraility of life with the death of my friends sister-in law. And the celebration of life with the launch of a parish orchard in Grangecon, serving Fairtrade tea and coffee to good ole country music!
