It has been a while...

...since my last local history blip, Harrogate Then & Now.

The Victoria Park Methodist Church was opened in 1865 on Station Parade. It replaced a much smaller building a short distance away.

The church was replaced in the latter half of the 20th century by retail premises, which changed companies several times.

The store was replaced quite recently by the Everyman Cinema seen here.
