Another book...

I said I'd keep you up to date on my quest to find a photo book replacement for Apple Books.  Well on the results of this one received today I'd say I may have found one.  My 50pp 8"x10"Blurb book took 7 days from receipt of images to delivery from Holland.  I consider that to be very good.  The book is hardback, the colours match up well with what I sent, and the paper is sturdy and crisp.  I chose semi-matt.  

Other printers are available.  My Motif book is nearly ready to send off next week some time (I keep changing my mind about layout).

Not so good today was the disappointing service from UPS, Blurb's delivery contractor.  Why do these people just tell blatant lies?  Received a text to say they'd tried to deliver it but couldn't get a signature so it had been left at a local agent - a mini-mart about 10 minutes from here.  Strange that from the UPS message saying, 'sorry you weren't in' to the one saying, 'it has just been delivered at...' took 2 minutes.  I smell a rat.  Moreso because we were working in the garden all morning and no delivery vans came anywhere near here.

Like I said at the start, Why do these people just tell blatant lies?
