Mysterious sign

The BPWs had a very impromptu change of plan today, the decision was made in transit when the weather took a turn for the worse! The amended route was along the canal from Kirkstall into Leeds - passing this strange sign (have a look at the extra if you're puzzled!)
Fortunately the weather Improved and we hardly got damp.
