Hello There!

I visited the zoo today and got a big welcome from Avanti, the Amir Leopard!!

She ran up to the glass barrier and jumped up. I was a bit surprised. She really is a beauty!

Almost all of the animals were awake and very active. I got to hear a Bald Eagle’s mating call, wolves howl, and had a blinking contest with a cougar!

It’s quite a hike, as our zoo is built into a mountain.

I wouldn’t have it any other way!
