Cathedral's dome
Initiated its construction in 1807, the San Antonio de Gualeguay Church would be inaugurated several years later, in 1836, wearing an imposing Italian neoclassical style.
Among its architectural details it is worth mentioning the main altar, built in carrara marble and onyx, and the 38 Doric style columns that separate the three naves located in a Latin cross position.
