Tuesday Bus Pass Walk

After boarding our second bus today the rain came down, and it was decided that an amendment to the walk might be necessary. Instead of Apperley Bridge to Saltaire, we stayed on the bus a while longer, alighting at Kirkstall. We then walked into Leeds along the canal. You wouldn’t think you were so near to the city along this tranquil route. We even met the bargeman on the “piano barge” which moves very slowly from place to place. Extras with some other sights on the walk.
