Look for the unicorn

I took Mum out to enjoy the bank holiday in spite of the rain and unfortunately so did the rest of the world. After failing to park at a plant sale, we headed for a local garden centre, but it was far too busy for Mum so we ended up back home for a coffee. I was still slightly miffed about the unsuccessful trip when she said "Thank you for a lovely day, really enjoyed it." She'd appreciated the time and effort and ignored the odd catastrophe. So no blip of the plant sale, but I'm taking a reminder to always look for the bright bits and seek out the unicorn in the day.
