Wild Wednesday...... Birds

The sky was black with loud thunder claps earlier on, after a night and morning of rain.......now the sky is blue, the sun is out and it's quite warm!  There are lots of birds to-ing and fro-ing and visiting the pond and feeders.  I believe this is a female blackbird, who kept returning to the pond edge seemingly collecting material, or maybe foraging for insects! Not sure.....is it rather late for nest building?
