Nothing special ...

Just a very auspicious number in China.

And here’s 3 of them. 8 is considered a very lucky number in this part of the world, so much so, that special events are specifically held on the 8th of the month or the companies like to be situated on the 8th floor of buildings, etc etc. The Beijing Olympic’s opening ceremony was on 08/08/08!!! You get the picture.

We just happened to be passing by this building, as we were in Lai Chi Kok having lunch with Martin and then exploring a whole new part of Hong Kong that I had never been to before. I was amazed, and didn’t get any pics :(.

Must go back. Oh and the weather has been sucky!
