Taking shelter

An Early Bumblebee worker needed to take shelter for a minute or two during one of today's many heavy showers of rain.  At least this shower didn't involve thunder or hail like those at lunchtime.  The flower it is hiding in, is an osteospermum that has clearly decided that there just isn't enough sunshine to bother extending its usual sun worshipping petals.

It has been a very long and trying day at work - not helped by the cold that I seem to have picked up at the weekend. I'm off for an early-ish night as I have unfortunately got another long day at work tomorrow, and a black tie dinner to look forward go to.
