Camera history
Many considered the pre-war Zeiss Contax to be the "professional" 35mm camera, while the Leica was for amateurs. In the 50s things began to change with the introduction of Leica M3 in 1954 and Leica M2 in 1957.
This Contax IIa was made in the early 50s and has Zeiss Jena Sonnar 1,5/5 cm lens. It is in beautiful condition and was bought by my friend Anders at an auction in April. And Yes, Anders has loaded a Tri-X in it. (In the background my Leica M2.)
