Wetherspoons

The Prince of Wales was built in 1878 as a theatre, and in 1965 until 1974 it was a cinema showing sex films!  In 1999 it became a JD Wetherspoons Pub offering great value meals and drinks. I'm a big fan!

The hugely successful chain is owned by Tim Martin.  He got the name JD from Boss Hogg (Dukes of Hazzard) and Wetherspoons was the name of a teacher who told him he'd never amount to anything!

Tim is a big fan of Brexit, as are many other successful Business persons.
