Bingo! Bellbird!

TeeJay, sis and I headed up to lake Rotoiti today for an afternoon jaunt. It was blooming hot and there were lots of boaties and sunbathers out having a good time. We being the hikers we now are (!) headed off into the bush for a walk and the hopes of catching some bird shots. We walked for a good 35 mins up the side of the lake and on our way back were rewarded with the appearance of a young bellbird. He/she simply sat in a tree and let my sis and I take photos of him. I took DOZENS! This one is cropped but only very slightly and I mean slightly!
There were some really cool ones of him ruffling his feathers but I liked the profile of this one
