Jelly Fish, Hervey Bay
These are blue blubber jellyfish. There are heaps of them floating in the water at Hervey Bay. One of the locals said they are in plague proportions due to the ideal weather conditions. There were lots washed up on the beach and he also described that he thinks they float in on the high tide and cannot get back out on the next tide, by which time they are dead and become 'fish food'. They are really quite beautiful to look at.
