SUCCESS!

Went to the canal early this morning and was told the cygnets hatched yesterday, however the female was sitting on the nest and no sign of the babies, no change on my way back. I decided to take the car and go back at midday, and was thrilled to see the cygnets, there are five and four eggs that are still in the nest, but will not hatch now. Just hoping the gulls or the mink do not get them.
It is a freezing day with a strong wind. I am just in from yoga, so having a quick coffee and then will head to the garden.

Still looking for my pregnant deer, but have not seen her for a week, just hoping she is alright.
