I like the shadow this metal table gives.

Because yesterday was a public holiday (VE day), we've taken today and tomorrow off to get a nice long weekend. Thus we've been hard at the DIY all day...

I've spent four hours sanding down two metal barstools. Two to go.
When they're finished I'll blip the lot - if I can still raise my arms!

More difficult than expected - but the husband has had much better results with his project and we've come up with some good ideas after a brainstorming lunch. So that's good.

The weather seems to have bucked up its ideas too. Bit windy, but definitely bringing in some warmth.
