Christchurch Skyline

I joined a tour of the Christchurch Regent Centre.  Very interesting.  It's one of the few old cinemas left, and has only survived because it's run as a community arts project.  I remember going there to Saturday Morning Cinema as a child.  My brother was one of the naughty boys who sat in the front row and flew paper aeroplanes at the pianist as she and her piano rose majestically from the orchestra pit to play before the films started.

I did take photographs of the inside of the building, but in the end I liked the view from the roof best.
