PEONY
Each year the peony roses flower abundantly in a little border aside the entrance of the bank. They are huge trees and have several colours.
The light pink are pretty too, but I prefer the dark red ones.
In the morning I made just a tiny spot ready for wild flower seeds. And I will continue that (almost) each day after. All for the insects and the bee, and butterflies.
After our nap we descended the hill into town and admired the peonies.
We made a little tour, entered the garden of the Rathaus (the roses are in buds) and walked around the harbour. Saturday the official opening of the lock.
Then we saw our dear friend Gerlinde and walked for a while with her.
Enough to talk about. We assured each other that we will meet at the opening again.
