Wild patch

On the Cooriedog walk there is a patch of ground which will become full of wild flowers.  Some dandelions are there already.  The cuckoo flower or lady's smock has started to make an appearance.  I think I'll pay more attention to this piece of ground, it is in stark contrast to the monoculture of Xmas trees all around.  And it might be good if I knew more of their names.
On our way up, a contractor warned us that he was spreading the Xmas trees with insecticide.  (See extra).  Oh well, better and more Xmas trees, fewer insects to pollinade the flowers, fewer wild flowers.  It does make you  wonder.
