Ta da.....

....my new bicycle wheel and gear cassette, an Amazon bargain at £28 with free p&p.

So, took the original wheel down to the local boutique cycle shop on Friday to get a broken spoke replaced. 
Went back later to collect, was advised that one of the gears was missing a good number of teeth and I would not be able to source a replacement as it was an obsolete fitting so I would need both a new wheel and gear cluster, he then charged me £16 for the replaced spoke on a wheel that was now only fit for the bin.
Suffice to say he was never going to get my trade for the replacement wheel and cassette. Shop local they say! No thank you.
