Old friend

An old friend came for a visit today. It was nice to drink peppermint tea, visit and laugh. We worked together for years. She recently retired as a nurse but her reasons were health related. She had spine problems initially. In March, she was diagnosed with colon cancer. She’s had 4 radiation treatments and 1 chemo treatment so far. She is cheerful and optimistic. Such an inspiration. She trusts the Lord, whatever He decides. There is freedom in that.
