Magnificent....
.................................Kelpies
Backblip - we are now in Inverness. Internet slowness means it is proving difficult uploading photos to Blip.
This morning’s first stop was at the 14th century Doune Castle followed by a lunch stop at Helix Park, home to the Kelpies, spectacular 30 metre sculptures of horses heads.
This afternoon time was spent at Culross, the once thriving 17th century port on the Forth River, Scotland. Everything about this place was charming.
Finally it was across the old Firth of Forth bridge as we made our way to Edinburgh.
1st extra shows Doune Castle
2nd extra shows two views of Culross. The orange house is a museum and because of a mispronunciation in early days it is referred to as the Palace.
As always, thank you so much for your visits, comments and stars for the previous blip. We are looking forward to another two nights in Glasgow at the end of our tour.
PS - uploading to Blip is proving difficult!
