Sampler from the 70s

A little stitching after dinner, as usual and Dr D remarked "You must have stitched a million stitches!" , looking around the stitching cave and here is a sampler I did under the tuition of Kath de Forges at Whitikahu in the 70s. She generously invited a large group of neighbours (mostly farmer's wives) to stitch and learn from her skills and qualifications of London City and Guilds.So many hours of pleasure and production that has given many of us.
