Mother's Day arrangement: Flower Friday

At lunchtime today, a most beautiful potted Hydrangea plant in a basket arrived! It's a very thoughtful gift from my son in Canada. The leaves are so lovely that it's perfect for our optional theme today is 'leaves.'  I included a touch of tiny flowers in soft focus to accompany the dark green leaf.

The extra photo is the whole beautiful plant with the cellophane paper still attached and the very pretty accompanying card. It's Mother's Day on Sunday in Switzerland. It's always on the second Sunday in May.
