Red Broome

I went to the U3A keep fit session this morning, but before that I did my personal workout, except I did not do the squats as I expected they would be part of the keep fit routine; they were.

Then after lunch I did a little Open University work, but then continued to knit as I want to see how the pattern works out.

Today's picture is of some of the flowers on our red Broome shrub; they look much redder on the actual bush.

The temperature at noon was twelve degrees Celsius, so quite warm, but with some odd drops of rain now and then.

Update:I have added an extra picture of my son-in-laws flight home as he flew over our village. The link shows my daughter's picture taken from a slightly different location. Like the mad people we are, my daughter and I were out in our respective gardens, taking photographs and waving. I also most fell off our back steps while doing so! I chose this one as the sun was shining on the aircraft.
