By the Medlock
I worked in Manchester this afternoon.
After which I headed off to say hello and goodbye. A colleague has just retired after 27 years heading up an environmental organisation. He should be proud of what he has achieved.
En route, I had a look at “Circle Square”. This mega development is being built out fast. The public realm along the meandering River Medlock is complete. It’s green, but in the usual Manchester “hard landscaping” context. I think it works well here. In the blip I am looking across the pebbly planting by the river to a derelict Mill (I think that’s what it is).
