Tradescantia Virginiana
This tradescantia - the white variety - is growing in my garden. I probably bought it at a nursery years ago. But the wild version, with a blue flower, grows fairly commonly in the woods. Its common name is spiderwort. This one is just barely opening up now. I was looking for a peony to photograph - but they are still even less open. Maybe next week!
I see there's a theme for FlowerFriday - well, there are plenty of leaves in this shot!
