Tank Commander General Stanislaw Maczek, Polish hero of WWII, waits patiently for company outside the City Chambers in Edinburgh. Stripped of his Polish citizenship by the Communists, and refused a pension by the British Government, after the war he worked as a bartender in an Edinburgh hotel.
