Surprised

Surprised as I walked here this afternoon not to be drenched by passing cars. Usually the puddles build up along the roadside during heavy rain and pedestrians have to walk on the grass to stay dry.
The council recently re-surfaced this bit so the puddles don’t form now - yay!

Earlier, I was very pleasantly surprised by my sister-in-law and brother-in-law who live in Edinburgh but we’re passing through the Midlands today and popped into my work to say hi!
