Electricals arriving

The plasterers arrived only 40 minutes late this morning, but then cracked on with no break until the job was finished. They have to come back because the plumber put the radiator over a gap in the wall that needs plastering.........so the radiator has to come off again. 

This afternoon, the John Lewis van arrived with the fridge, induction hob, freezer and oven. These are all now in Mum's bedroom along with the kitchen wall units I hope someone will buy/take away for me.

This evening I was in Newcastle at Julie's for a meal with Maxine and Tim. "A simple supper" was, of course, a feast. All delicious from the nibbles, through starter, main, dessert, cheese, coffee and chocolate. Julie certainly knows how to entertain. We had good conversation and helped Tim realise that his new jacket is not too young for him. Maxine brought the rug she is making for constructive criticism, which was provided.

No workmen are due over the weekend but the kitchen fitting starts on Monday. By then the plaster dust may have settled a little. I hate the taste of it.
