Glossy.....

This attractive tree is a Clerodendron trichotomum.... otherwise known as the Harlequin glorybower. We have two in our garden. When in flower their fragrance can fill the air for a considerable distance.....a glorious smell. Here it is in its autumn garb. Alas, it is regarded as a weed in some circles as it can spread very readily with suckers. Despite that I am very fond of the tree.
