Island Life

M arrived in the wee small hours after flight delays. There was time for a couple of hours of sleep then we excitedly hit the open road for Iona. Smooth sailing and sunshine from Oban and already the tiredness and stress was slipping away in the wake of the ship. A beautiful drive across Mull, with a pit stop for a walk at a favourite beach and a tour of the weavers. Onto the wee ferry and I set foot back on the little island that stays in my heart. Glorious walking weather, scampi &chip suppers accompanied by with Campari (they had to dust it off), and wine and we were very content with life!
