Lucy Evans Baylands Nature Interpretive Center

Inspired by Miztified , we walked along the new boardwalk at the Palo Alto Baylands reserve. Mid afternoon, tide out, very few wading birds, lots of swallows. The swallows are enthusiastically nesting in the new building - the screening to keep them from nesting under the roof has been circumvented. (nests in extra). The building is alive with cheeping and landings - at least a hundred nests.
