Paul

Paul's funeral this morning. One of the nicest and funniest blokes you could ever meet. We worked together more than 30 years ago and latterly would go for cricket trips around the country with Phil. These trips tended to include beer and curry and "away days" where we'd get a train or bus somewhere in the area. They also included a lot of laughs and we'd raise a glass to ex-colleagues who had died; this list got longer as we grew older. I've already linked to George's blip showing our cricket trip to Munich in 2015. Because I was driving I couldn't have a beer at the funeral but I'll be lifting a glass to Paul this evening.
