Behind the Car

Went to work, worked, went back home.  No big deal.

After I'd parked the car on the Noorder Island, what looked like a bright ruby next to the pavement caught my eye.  On closer examination, it turned out to be this empty perfume bottle.  Of course, I had to check it out, just in case there was still a wee bit in it ... or perhaps it was still half full?  But no, it was completely finished.  Shot it right then and there, then left the camera in the car under one of the umbrellas, and brought the other one with me in case it rained, which, thankfully, it did not.  With a much lighter back pack, I walked faster to work.

Altogether an easy day, even though a workday is never completely stress-free.
