big and blousey

A cool start but later in the sunshine it was warm. I’m gradually getting the grass cut, using the strimmer it’s hard at times perhaps because it’s longer than I like and wet in places, enjoyable all the same. The ride on mower should be back soon and John can tidy it up. No matter how many shrubs, bulbs, seeds etc there’s always room for more.

There are pots and pots of plants I hope the bees will like, they are in the polytunnel although possibly too early to put them out? I will have to ask the neighbour, she’s great gardener.
The bluebells have been very good in the garden, a lovely ,blue swathe, also the pretty wood anemone which is spreading well.
