Just a mirage

I loved the effect of a hazy sky merging imperceptibly into a hazy sea (or is it the other way round)? I loved it even more when some sort of huge behemoth ship started shimmering its way through the effect. It turned out to be an enormous cable layer. Taken with  a 500mm f9 mirror lens.

The extra shows a dog rolling in a dead porpoise. Bad dog! Someone is getting a bath when he gets home! I saw some live versions out to sea later which was nice.
