Peeping purple

Lovely to wake up to bright sunhsine and blue skies this morning, after all the rain of late. Shame it wasnt a bit warmer though!

We've not done much walking this last week so off we trotted down town, we needed to pick up a few things, before going to Reds for a coffee a bite to eat.....not been in all week!!

Once we got back home hub cut the grass, I pottered, then we sat out in the sunshine on the deck, not that warm, especially the wind, but better than rain for sure!

I thought Id best get my camera and take a few shots whilst the weather was good. Opted for one of our rhoddi's as my blip today. The buds are starting to open, if the forecast is right, I think they will open up completely over the next few days, with the extra warmth, fingers crossed they are right.

We've had crab and crayfish ravioli with prawns in a tomato chilli and garlic sauce for dinner, really tasty.

I lost a half pound this week, but still a loss.... need to be good and get moving more, to speed things up a little. I would just like to lose another half a stone. That will be three and a half stones lighter than when I retired :-)

Looking forward to Haworth 1940s next weekend.....hope to catch up with lots of fellow blippers too :-)
