The Leaning Tower of Trellick

To Portobello for the first time in a long time. Crazily packed, but still fun once we were past the crowds, at the Golborne Road end, in the heroic shadow of Goldfinger's brutalist behemoth.
There, according to WonderA's desires, we blissed out on strong Portuguese coffee, bacalhoa fritters and custard tarts in the sun.
Later, even further west, in the badlands of Acton, we were introduced to Middle daughter's new puppy Tilly, a sprongy, then sleepy then sprongy again bundle of delight.

Later, before our visas ran out, we hightailed it back east for supper and an early night, intrepid codgers both.
