Celebrating 50 years

Colin and I lived in Westhill for a couple of years early in our marriage in the late 1970s. The town has grown dramatically since then and today its origins in the late 1960s were celebrated in the official opening of a fine piece of public art at the gateway to the town. We were there by chance to catch up with friends and it was too good an opportunity to miss a walk in the sunshine to witness the celebration. Also I'd had some involvement with the group who delivered the project when I worked with The Garioch Partnership and a few of them were there today. So all in all a grand afternoon.
