Flower Market (Friday 10th May 2019)

I took this in C's garden in Melksham on my iPad as I'd left my camera bag in the car (Archie). She is preparing to move house so I came away with a wire basket full of ferns, foxgloves and other plants.

On my way back I stopped at Caen Hill (see Extra) and was delighted to find the two swans outside the café with two small cygnets. The cob was on the bank and came at me hissing and thrusting his bill at me to dissuade me from getting too close, bless him. The Extra was taken ten minutes later when the cygnets were being given a guided tour of the Moorings.

I see that in Blipworld this represents eight years' worth of Blips (2920 blips) although as I always have to point out this is two days early as there were leap years in 2012 and 2016, and it includes 250 archived blips. The earliest of these is from 1960 when I was ten (thirteen years before Blipfoto founder Joe Tree was born), and my first official blip was on 26 March 2010, which was 9 years, 1 month and 15 days ago, so it's all a bit random, but I'll take it!
