Sleeping ducks!

A morning at Castle Espie, in the sunshine! It was still cool, so a jacket was necessary, but it was lovely and sunny :-)
There was lots going on, but these ducks slept through it all! I did see a Reed warbler and a meadow pippit, so I did see something that I hadn't seen before, I think we heard a black cap, but couldn't see it at all! There were loads of black headed gulls, very noisy, there's a large colony that nest at Castle Espie, no chicks yet, so we'll go back soon and hopefully see the chicks.
